Breakfast was, you guessed it! Lol. Shakeology.
For lunch, I had a salad and miso soup. I was looking forward to eating the Asian cabbage salad, but I think I marinated it too long so it was just soaked in the dressing! I still ate it though. I could tell it would be super good if I hadn't have marinated it overnight. It says to marinate it for 15 minutes, but because I prep my lunches the night before.. yeah, that wasn't going to happen. I don't have time on my lunch breaks to come home and prepare a meal, so I like it to just be ready to eat as soon as I get home.
Dinner was pretty darn good! I didn't complain at all. I love sweet potatoes, and this was the first time I've ever had it without butter. The recipe called for it to just be seasoned with olive oil and Himalayan salt, and it was still so freaking good. I wanted another whole potato, haha.
Anyway, today was the start of week 3.. which is the final week. There's a new supplement to take this week, called Revitalize (helps revitalize flora in the digestive tract -- this is in pill form). Basically, it's a blend of pro-biotics and pre-biotics. It's beneficial for the immune and digestive system and your overall health. I am so thankful that I don't have to drink the Detox drink and that these are only pills. So, now for week 3 in addition to Revitalize.. I am taking Mineralize, Optimize, Alkalinize, and Soothe. (If you're just now starting to follow my journey, go back to my Day 1 post to find out what those supplements do.)
Although I feel great from this cleanse, I feel like I need to work out. I can feel myself being lazy, lol. I know once this cleanse is over I'm going to have a hard time getting back into the swing of things working out 6 days/week again. I decided that after this cleanse is over, I'm going to ease back into my workouts and not go balls to the wall.. lol. I'll probably do Tai Cheng for a week, and then go back into P90X3.
Only 6 days left and I'm looking forward to taking my after pictures and measurements!
Eat right, sleep tight..
Tiare
