Ultimate Reset: Day 1 in the books!

It was a really great day! I started the morning off at 6:45am with drinking a glass of water with Mineralize (adds natural minerals needed by the body -- you just sprinkle it in your water) and Optimize (promotes healthy metabolism and effective body functions -- these are in pill form). No issues there.


I had breakfast at 7:15am, which was Shakeology. I blended 1 scoop of vanilla Shakeology, 1/2 cup fresh pineapple chunks, 2 tsp. sweetened coconut flakes, and 1 cup water. I was supposed to have unsweetened coconut flakes, but I couldn't find any at Albertson's.. so I'll have to find them somewhere else like Whole Foods or maybe Walmart might have some. 

Around 9:30am I did notice that my tummy was starting to hurt. You know, that feeling you get when you feel like you're gonna poop. Lol. TMI, but I don't care. I didn't poop though. Yet, anyway. It's 9:00pm right now, still haven't pooped all day. But anyways, I took my second dose of supplements at 12:30pm (Optimize). 

Oh, before I go on.. the Mineralize (it's basically just Himalayan salt) supplement.. I have a 32 oz. water bottle, so I just put about 30 shakes of the salt into the whole water bottle and I just drink it throughout the day.. and I only refill once. So I'm drinking 64 oz. of water/day = 60 shakes of the Mineralize supplement. I was surprised to find out that it doesn't make the water salty at all. Can't even taste it.


Moving on. Lunch was at 1:00pm and it was probably one of the biggest salads I've ever had! This picture doesn't even show how big it was, but that container goes pretty damn deep. I was so full. The miso soup was good. I had no issues of still feeling hungry afterwards, as most people would say, "A salad! That's it?!" I felt satisfied. I didn't even feel the need to have a snack between lunch and dinner like usual. (You're allowed 1 snack/day, but only if you really feel hungry.)

I took my third dose of supplements at 5:30pm. Optimize and Soothe (helps enhance digestive health and reduce inflammation -- these are pills too).


As I was cooking dinner, around 6:45pm.. I took my fourth dose of supplement.. Alkalinize (helps maintain alkalinity -- this is in powder form). I was supposed to have this as my 3rd dose, but I realized that I didn't have an extra cup at work to mix the powder in.. so I took it as my 4th dose instead, at home. If you're wondering what it is, it's a green powder that you just mix in water. It tastes.. very green, lol. Kind of reminds me of wheat grass. But anyways, I had dinner at 7:00pm, which was salmon, baby potatoes, and asparagus.. and it was really good! This is something I would normally eat anyway, so it wasn't a big change for me. 

So, it is now 9:16pm.. about 3 hours after dinner and I am still feeling full! Like I said earlier, I haven't had any issues in having to go to the bathroom. I still went pee the same amount of times I normally do (which is a lot, because I drink a lot of water and I have a small bladder.. or I might have an overactive bladder, who knows? I don't, because I haven't gotten it checked. I'm stubborn like that.) Today has been a really great day and I look forward to tomorrow!
