He was born on August 22, 1967. She was born on April 12, 1968. My parents have been together for 25 years, married for 20 years. They met at a gas station. My mom was working there and he went in to pay for some gas. They got married on August 15, 1992, four years after I was born. Three years later my sister, Malia, was born and then five years after her came my other sister, Kiana.
Facts about my dad:
1. He is currently unemployed.
2. He has 1 older brother and 1 younger sister.
3. He was born and raised in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu.
4. He used to be into fixing up cars and installing car sound systems.
5. He is definitely a local boy at heart.
6. When he was in high school, he played the trombone.
7. He likes to watch TV.
8. He never played any sports in high school.
9. The one odd song I've heard him sing to is "Dreaming of You" by Selena.
10. His favorite color is green.
Facts about my mom:
1. She is an assistant scan coordinator for Albertsons.
2. People are always telling me I look like her.
3. She has 1 younger brother and 1 younger sister.
4. As a teenager, she was considered a wild child.
5. She never puts herself before the needs and wants of anyone, the most selfless person I know.
6. People are always telling me she always has a smile on her face.
7. She has the softest skin EVER!
8. She loves unicorns, they're her favorite and she collects figurines of them.
9. She forgets a lot of things and denies them whenever you remind her.
10. She is so smart.
I am very blessed to have them as my parents. I am very thankful to them for always loving me.
